Cycle Canada, Day 20, May 24/06

May 24/06, Wednesday                                        Day 20                               1729 Km
Greg & Christine's, Yorkton, Saskatchewan                                                        8 Kms                           ~0:40 Hrs
Rose late. More e-mail stuff.
Went to Quiznos for breakfast in the rain. Checked a couple of stores for HDV tapes. No luck. Went back to Digout's and slept 2 hours.
Rained most of the day so we cancelled our golf tee-time.
So far the weather has mostly conspired in our favour. Any time that there has been appreciable rain we've been sleeping inside. Temperatures haven't been unbearably hot or cold. The wind has been the only problem and as long as it's not blowing consistently it's a problem that can be tolerated.
Today's totals for time and distance don't amount to much but I rode them so I wrote them.
This was also our last day in Saskatchewan. Despite my pre-trip anticipation of tailwinds across the prairies, Saskatchewan turned out to be the province with our lowest average speed. Even slower than B.C. where I was still out of shape and climbing mountains.
