I have to take a few days off.

Doug finally called an end to my attempt to keep riding. He said he couldn't watch me standing in the pedals any more. Maybe he feels like I'm slowing us down but our average speeds have picked up since we left Manitoba.

I was thinking that I'd try to make Thunder Bay (about Sunday night) then see if a rest of a couple of days would help (we already had planned a rest day) but I'm having a tough time bending my knee at all now and Doug suggested we stop. I didn't take any persuading.
