I don't
recall much about today's ride. I stood in the pedals most of the
day, maybe five and a half hours. It hurts too much to pedal with my
knee bent. Pedaling standing up doesn't bother me that much as long
as the pace isn't too high.
This
service yard is really in the middle of nowhere. We camped beside a
couple of flatbed trailers. Our bathing/washing place is little more
than a puddle. On the edge of the parking lot the natural drainage of
the area seems to have been slowed down a bit and water has built up
on and around the broken concrete, asphalt and other rubble that has
been pushed over there during construction.
We
washed in water about 8" deep.
