Had
breakfast in the Beach View Restaurant in Thessalon. The motel next
door has been closed for a year. It's for sale and looks to be in not
bad shape. With the right owners it could live again.
In
Blind River we visited Tim Horton's and the library. It was a good
long stop (~1:40) and I got a few e-mails out. Not as many or as long
as I would like. I never seem to have enough time for writing. I sent
a note to Jenn to see about arranging a visit to Bracebridge, I'll
have to phone her tomorrow.
Caught
some good weather and flatish terrain today and made good time
despite our late start today. It looks really good on the map too,
since we got to turn it to the other side where the scale is bigger.
Lots
of iron sculptures around town. Mostly horses but other things as
well.
